Needless to say I have tried many baby seats for the tub over the years. This one is great. I'm always worried when ordering online since you can't touch the item to see how well it is made. I have a very fat little one and there is plenty of room. ALL bath seats have a slippery seat but this one has a bigger front bar between the legs to try and help with the comfort issue. Worst case for a little boy wrap a hand towel around the bar for cushion. I have done that in the past. But on closer inspection, I see that the wieght limit for the seat is only 20 lbs. My daughter already weighs 21.5lbs and shes no where near 'over-weight'. The specifications on the seat say 6 months + and up to 20 lbs. My first daughter was a year old before she hit 20 lbs, but plenty of babies are just as big as my 2nd daughter and therefore wouldn't be able to use this seat EXCEPT in their 6th month!! If you have petit children though, it is probably a good product... 19 of 20 people found the following review helpful  Great buy, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Dream On Me Baby Bath Seat, Yellow (Baby Product) It does everything it should, and the price is right.Easy one-hand open (see picture), very stable in the tub and easy to release, plenty of room for the baby (mine is a chubby one - not a problem), great colors (yellow) and fun toys for the baby. Cons I could think of: The seat itself is somewhat slippery. I imagine it can become uncomfortable for boys. The toy accumulates a lot of water. You need to empty it properly after bath (just hold the seat upside down for a few seconds) Feel free to ask if you have any questions. |
