Only drawvback of this seat is the size. My baby is around 17lbs and the seat is huge around him. I think the suction cups work really well however, I first used it on a bathroom that had texture on the bottom, you have to be sure that the surface you place the suction cups on is SMOOTH or else it won't stick.
